Pivotal Days

Through the fire we gaze, eyes just numb to the blaze\r\nHardest thing's to look away, these are pivotal days,\r\nLive in a haze, biblical phase, these pivotal days\r\n\r\nThrough the fires of harbored rage, the awful things we say\r\nHow can we live this way?\r\nThrough the stormy times still somebody climbs\r\nHard to live okay in these pivotal days\r\n\r\nSo we forced and fought our way up to heaven's gate\r\nJust to fall upon our blade, oh these pivotal days\r\nLiving a maze, critical age, pivotal days\r\n\r\nThrough the blazing harbored rage, the horrible things we say\r\nHow can we live this way?\r\nThrough the stormy times still somebody climbs\r\nAnd it's hard to live okay in these pivotal days\r\n\r\nHard to live, oh it's hard in these\r\nPivotal, biblical, critical days (live in a haze)\r\nA cynical age, we're in a literal haze (biblical phase)\r\nBut I know that there's a way (these pivotal days)
